Patient complaints officer

If you don’t feel comfortable raising your complaint with us, are unable to resolve the issue together with us, or would like assistance in submitting a complaint, please contact the complaints officer at the CBKZ (Central Bureau for Healthcare Complaints Management). They are impartial, work independently, and are happy to support you with guidance and advice. The complaints officer can also mediate in finding a solution. Everything you share with the complaints officer will be treated confidentially.

Disputes committee in healthcare

If it has not been possible to resolve the complaint with the help of the complaints officer, the complaint may be referred to as a “dispute.” A dispute can then be submitted to the Midwifery Disputes Body (Geschilleninstantie Verkoskunde) within one year of receiving the final response (letter or email) from the midwife, sonographer, or complaints officer. A condition is that the event the complaint relates to must not have taken place more than five years ago. More information can be found at:  Geschilleninstantie Verloskunde.
