At amstermam, we give you more than you expect. Our midwifery practice in Amsterdam provides all the care and support you need during your pregnancy, birth, and postpartum period. We take the time for you, listen to you, and share our knowledge to ensure you always feel supported.

Come visit us!

We are located in four locations in the city: noord, west, east and center. Our location in Oost is situated in the quiet Plantage neighborhood, on the first floor of Bluebirds. Here, the dedicated team of Rianne, Laure, and Elisa is ready to support you with personal care — from your positive pregnancy test to after the birth.

At our location in Oost, you can come for standard consultations.

Regular maternity care

At our location in East, you are also welcome for our standard maternity care. Here, you can visit regularly for personal one-on-one consultations. During your pregnancy, we schedule between 7 and 10 appointments, each lasting about 20 minutes, so we can closely monitor both your well-being and that of your baby.

In addition, the team offers a special series of gatherings: Centering Pregnancy. Here, you meet monthly with other expectant mothers from the neighborhood to learn from each other, connect, and of course gather information for during and after pregnancy. The midwives are all really people-persons with a love for their profession, and they also have a realistic view of pregnancy, the postpartum period, and childbirth. The more holistic approach confirmed for me that I made the right choice in choosing this midwifery practice. A doula was always present at the interactive meetings, and everyone is free to experience their journey however they feel comfortable. I’m a fan! And I’m going into the birth with full confidence 🧡
